Four fuel pumps for Cummins diesel generators
1, Tandem pump:
Tandem pumps are used in car pump nozzle systems. This pump is an assembly consisting of a fuel pump and a vacuum pump for brake booster. It is installed on the cylinder head of the diesel generator and is driven by the diesel generator camshaft. The fuel pump itself is either a vane pump with closed vanes or a gear pump. The contact line between the rotating gears provides a seal between the outlets of the fuel pump and prevents fuel from flowing back.
4, Vane type fuel pump with closed vanes:
This type of pump is used in car pump nozzle systems. The spring presses the two closed blades towards the rotor. When the rotor rotates, the volume of the inlet end increases, and fuel is sucked into the two cavities; the rotor continues to rotate, and the fuel is forced out from the two cavities. This pump can deliver oil even at a very low speed.
