Importance of Ferrule Seal

Gaskets in automobile engines are called cylinder gaskets, also known as cylinder liners, and are located between the cylinder head and the cylinder block.

The function of the cylinder head gasket is to fill the microscopic pores between the cylinder block and the cylinder head to ensure good sealing at the joint surface, thereby ensuring the sealing of the combustion chamber, preventing air leakage of the cylinder and water leakage of the water jacket, and maintaining the flow from the body to the cylinder head. Coolant and oil do not leak.
