Working principle of turbocharger

Simply put, the turbocharger is connected to the exhaust manifold of the engine, and the exhaust gas discharged from the cylinder drives the turbine to rotate, similar to a gas turbine. The turbine is connected to a compressor installed between the air filter and the suction pipe through a shaft. The compressor compresses the air into the cylinder, and the exhaust gas discharged from the cylinder flows through the turbine blades to rotate the turbine. The more exhaust gas flows through the blades, the faster the turbine spins.

At the other end of the shaft connected to the turbine, the compressor draws air into the cylinder. The compressor is a centrifugal pump that sucks air in the center of the blades and throws the air outside as it rotates.
