The working process of the turbocharger

1.The exhaust gas from the engine pushes the turbine wheel at the exhaust end of the turbine and makes it spin. This can drive the turbine wheel on the other side connected to it to also rotate at the same time.
2.The compressor impeller forcibly sucks air in from the air inlet, and after being compressed by the rotation of the blades, it enters the diffuser passage with an increasingly larger pipe diameter and flows out. The compressed air is injected into the cylinder for combustion.
3.Some engines are equipped with an intercooler to reduce the temperature of the compressed air, increase the density, and prevent the engine from knocking.
4.The compressed (and cooled) air enters the cylinder through the intake pipe and participates in combustion work.
5.The combusted exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe and enters the turbine, and then repeat the action of 1 above.

The turbocharger system includes a turbocharger, an intercooler, an intake bypass valve, an exhaust bypass valve and supporting intake and exhaust pipes. Among them, the turbocharger body is the most important component in the turbocharging system. It is the core component to improve the volumetric efficiency.
