Working Principle of Oil Control Valve
The oil pressure control valve, also known as the OCV valve, is mainly used in cvvt engines. It works by moving the ocv valve back and forth to control the oil entering the advance oil chamber or delay oil chamber of the cvvt to provide oil pressure to move the camshaft at a certain angle so that the engine The time and angle for the valve to reach the optimum opening or closing under different loads! The fuel economy of the engine is greatly improved. The role of the oil control valve is to limit the maximum pressure of the lubricating system and prevent the lubricating system from generating too high pressure, which will cause damage to the lubricating system components and oil leakage in the oil passage. The oil pressure regulating valve is installed on the outlet oil passage of the oil pump.
Classification of Oil Control Valve
The function of the oil control valve is to regulate and prevent the pressure of the engine lubrication system from being too high.
Valve body assembly and actuator assembly (or actuator system) are divided into four series: single-seat series control valves, double-seat series control valves, sleeve series control valves and self-operated series control valves. Variations of the four types of valves result in a myriad of different applicable configurations, each with its own specific applications, features, advantages and disadvantages.
