Lube filter, its role is to remove the dust in the oil, metal particles, carbon sediment and soot particles and other impurities, protect the engine.

In the process of engine work, metal dust, dust, high temperature oxidized carbon and gelatinous sediment, water and other constantly mixed with lubricating oil.  The role of oil filter is to filter out these mechanical impurities and gum, ensure the cleaning of lubricating oil, extend its service life.  Oil filter should have strong filtering capacity, small flow resistance, long service life and other properties.

Due to the high viscosity of the oil itself and the high content of debris in the oil, in order to improve the filtering efficiency, the oil filter generally has three levels, which are the oil filter, the crude oil filter and the fine oil filter.  The filter collector is installed in the oil sump before the oil pump, and generally adopts the metal filter type.  The crude oil filter is installed behind the oil pump and connected in series with the main oil channel. There are mainly metal scraper type, sawdust filter core type and microporous filter paper type. Now the microporous filter paper type is mainly used.  The oil fine filter is installed in parallel with the main oil channel after the oil pump, which mainly has two kinds of microporous filter paper type and rotor type.  Rotor fine oil filter adopts centrifugal filter, no filter element, effectively solve the contradiction between oil passing and filtering efficiency.
