Product Description

Oil filter, also known as oil grid.  Used to remove dust, metal particles, carbon sediment and soot particles in the oil and other impurities to protect the engine.

Oil filter has full flow and shunt type.  The full-flow filter is connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil channel, so it can filter out all the lubricating oil entering the main oil channel.  The shunt cleaner is in parallel with the main oil channel, and only part of the lubricating oil sent out by the filter oil pump.

Automotive cars requirements for oil filters:
1, Filter precision, filter out all particles > 30 um,
2, Reduce particles that enter the lubrication gap and cause wear (< 3 um – 30 um)
3, The oil flow meets the engine oil requirement.
4, Long replacement cycle, at least longer than the life of the oil (km, time)
